Tariff Talk Continued
Things continue to evolve but we want to share what we know today, what we’re doing to stay ahead, and how we plan to continue supporting you and your clients.
What’s Happening
Tariffs continue to change depending on country of origin and product classification, impacting a wide range of imported goods. As of this time, here is a link to our products unaffected by the tariffs including our in-demand, Trace & Carry line powered with Aware technology.
While these new tariffs mean increased costs on inbound inventory, we are doing our best to mitigate the immediate impact on you and your clients.
What We’re Doing
We’ve taken proactive steps to protect supply and stabilize pricing by increasing order volumes late in 2024 on key items, anticipating these potential disruptions. This move will allow us to hold pricing in the short term, particularly on these key products.
That said, as new inventory arrives under updated tariff rates, we do anticipate selective pricing changes on some of these in-demand, impacted items. We’ll share updates by May 15, 2025, or sooner as the situation evolves.
What You Can Expect from Gordon Sinclair
Effective today, we are committing to honor quotes for 7 days, given no material changes. For custom and large-volume orders, we ask for your understanding as we continue to assess on a case-by-case basis. We encourage you and your clients to take advantage of our current, unaffected inventory to meet present and future needs, providing protection from tariff fluctuations.
